Angela + Josh - The Lodge, Sonoma
I had a chance to catch up with Angela and Josh last weekend in the city. I'm still editing, but these images taken in Golden Gate Park are some of my favorite from our time together. I love Angela's expression in the first one, and the light coming down on them from above in the last ones. More to come from our play date soon!
What do they say about rain on your wedding day? Brings you good luck? Well, if that is the case, Orlando and Gina were blessed with lots of luck at their Woodside wedding a few weeks ago...buckets full of luck!
While it wasn't easy being head party planner and lead photographer, I tried to capture some fun details from Camilla's 3rd birthday. My weeks of crafting felt crowns paid off, and Camilla wore her special "Foofa" crown almost all day long:) It was so super cute and lasted a whole week after the party. Although I had every intention of doing more over the top decorating, in the end I tried to keep it simple.
Easy to hang tissue pom-poms brought our living room and deck to life.
A framed enlargement of my birthday card to Camilla wishing her all of her favorite things will be a cherished memory from the day, and it's ready to hang in her room.
Life size cut-outs of Yo Gabba Gabba characters added touches of whimsy around the house.
Home-made felt heart garlands can be used as decorations at the next doll tea party.
Nervous that it might rain, and the kids would be stuck inside, I hired an amazing woman named Lien who came and dazzled the kids with her balloon creations. She was just wonderful, and twisted up all kinds of incredible characters. She brought a delightful birthday balloon crown for Camilla that incorporated Foofa (her favorite character from Yo Gabba Gabba) and stuck with our valentine's day theme.
I was so thrilled to find out that Chris and Eric's intimate wedding at The Terraces Winery in Calistoga appeared today on Brooklyn Bride! What a thrille to get a little east coast love for these two very special people. You can check out the full post here:
I'm working on my post from the spectacular Windsor Estate wedding of Margaret and Alex and thought I would post a few of my favorites so far.
First of all, this macro shot of Margaret's ring seriously does not do it justice. It was breathtakingly beautiful, and so unique. Margaret's bouquet of ranunculas was divine, and I loved the navy and white striped grosgrain ribbon she used to tie it off.
Um, the dress....and Margaret in it....stunning.
Alex getting ready....love his kicks.
Margaret designed the bridesmaid's dresses, and chose the trim and fabrics herself. Each had it's own personality, that perfectly suited her ladies.
More to come soon....
So excited to spend some time with my newly engaged brother and his lovely fiance over the winter break. These were snapped at the end of our trip ... a real engagement session to come in the next couple of months.
These are two sisters I absolutely love shooting. Caroline is fearless and sassy. Crosby is sensible and proper. Love love love these.
Check back soon for some incredible images from the wedding of Christina and Eric at the breathtaking Terraces Estate and Vineyard in Calistoga.
Just some outtakes from an impromptu visit to the park after Sunday night dinner with my family. Camilla has both uncles and aunts wrapped tightly around her finger. What lucky kids!
Sneak peak! Mike and Nancy were married at City Hall this past Friday afternoon surrounded by family and close friends. I love how Nancy told me in our first meeting that Mike was terribly camera shy, and that he really didn't like having his picture taken! Have you seen two more photogenic people?!? I could have shot them in this gorgeous light for hours...sigh. I'm still editing, but here are some of my favorites.
What a spectacular day at Pebble Beach for Amy and Nick's lovely wedding. The ride down the coast was overcast, but as soon as we entered the gates at Spanish Bay, the clouds lifted and the sun shone so bright. Amy and Nick were beaming from the start. Here are some of my favorites. And the whole day can be seen here.
One of the most beautiful ceremonies I have witnessed this year. Two of the nicest people you will ever meet. Congratulations Meg and Tj! Thanks for making me a part of your day.
Just a couple favorites from my impromptu site visit with Meg and TJ whose wedding I am shooting this Saturday. Aren't they so cute?!?!!?
